What is Babool Gum (Kikar Gond / Acacia Gum)
Babool Gum (also called Kikar Gond, Gond Babool, or Acacia arabica gum) is a natural resin obtained from the Babul tree (Acacia nilotica).
When the tree bark is cut, a sticky sap (gum) oozes out and hardens into a crystalline, amber-colored substance — this is Babool Gond.
It is widely used in Ayurvedic, Unani, and traditional herbal medicine for its cooling, strengthening, and healing properties.
